Student Life

Welcome to our “Student Life” section of the website! Here, we invite you to discover the exciting and enriching experiences that await our students beyond the classroom walls. Our commitment to holistic education goes beyond academics, as we believe that a well-rounded education encompasses a wide range of opportunities for personal growth and development.

After School Activities

Co-curricular activities are an integral part of school life at ICSA. We have an extensive range of competitive and non-competitive activities to give students the chance to try something new and to connect with peers and teachers/coaches.

Athletics

ICSA is part of the West African International Schools Activities League (WAISAL). This gives us a chance to compete in a wide range of athletics, including basketball, football, volleyball, and swimming. We also have opportunities to join non-competitive sports teams.

Aquatics

ICSA is lucky to have an olympic sized swimming pool on campus, allowing us to offer an extensive aquatic program. Students have the opportunity to learn how to swim through swimming classes as part of the curriculum, and during after school Activities where we offer various aquatics clubs. There is also a competitive swimming team.

The Arts

The arts play a vital role at ICSA, offering numerous benefits to students and the overall learning environment. Engaging in artistic pursuits nurtures creativity, imagination, and self-expression, allowing students to explore and communicate their thoughts and emotions in unique ways. Here at ICSA, we offer music, art, band, and drama.

Student Councils

ICSA's Student Council is a student-led organization responsible for representing the student body and wider community. Within the council, we have six diverse committees for students to join in order to offer leadership opportunities and to allow students to participate in planning events that fit their own personal interests.

Service Learning

Service Learning is an integral part of learning at ICSA. It's embedded into our curriculum, offered as After School Activities and CAS (Creativity, Action and Service) opportunities for our IBDP students. It allows students to meaningfully connect with the local community and develop empathy and understanding.
