ICSA's Student Councils

ICSA’s Student Council is a student-led organization responsible for representing the student body and wider community in several meaningful ways. StuCo strives to make sure students’ voices matter—In fact, this section was written by two of its members!

Our Motto: Creating Memorable Days for ICSA

Our Vision: Creating engaging activities and contributing to the community by enriching the school lives of students in the ICSA Upper School Community. We welcome students who are motivated to bring improvements to ICSA and are willing to spend time to do so regardless of their position in the organization.

StuCo Organization: Our Committees

There are six diverse committees for students to join within Student Council: Sports Committee, Arts Committee, Spirit Committee, Social Gatherings Committee, House Committee, and Advisory Committee. These were created in the school year 2022-23 to offer more leadership opportunities as well as allow students to participate in planning events that fit their own personal interests.

How to Join

StuCo holds elections each year before summer vacation for the next school year’s executive committee, to ensure there is no void in student leadership when school begins. All upper school students are greatly encouraged to vote. Additional StuCo roles such as committee leaders and general members are determined during the following year of service so that all students‒including new ones‒have a chance to participate.

Join the Student Council if you want to make a difference in our community!
