Counseling Program Mission
The Counseling Department at ICSA supports all students through a comprehensive and developmental approach that addresses the four domains outlined by the International Model for School Counseling – academic, personal/social, career and global perspective. The PK-12 counseling program provides instruction, support and caring at every level. Services are provided to maximize the academic achievement of all students and promote the necessary skills, attitudes, and beliefs for all students to strengthen their unique capabilities and enable them to participate in a community of learners who are striving to embrace an ever-changing world.

Lower School Counselor
Welcome to the ICSA school counseling department. I am excited to start my second year at ICSA as the lower school counselor. I have been a school counselor for two years. Previously, I worked in the United States with several education and counseling programs particularly empowering women and girls.

Upper School CounselOR
Welcome to the ICSA Upper School Counseling department! I have worked as an international educator for 15 years in Ghana, Cameroon, China, Togo and now Cote D’Ivoire. I also worked as the Boarding School Guidance Counselor for the 11th and 12th graders both in Yaounde and Lome, and am currently the Upper School Counselor working with grades 6-12. I have two wonderful daughters, one in university in the USA and the other in university in China. I am excited about engaging students and parents in the process of career counseling, IB admissions and working through social emotional issues. I look forward to working with you and your children!
