Learning and Leading Collaboratively
We believe that the foundation of a healthy community of learners is based on relationships, a child-centered, inquiry-based curriculum, social-emotional support, and a strong focus on service.
By providing opportunities to lead in various situations, our goal is to raise international-minded members of society, who have a sense of responsibility towards others and the environment.

ELL
At ICSA, we believe that every child can learn and succeed. We value different ways of thinking and learning. We support the full development of each student. Our goal is to create learning environments that are welcoming and easy to access for all students, from Pre-K to Grade 12. We adapt our teaching to meet different learning needs. We provide general learning support in the classroom and make appropriate accommodations when needed. We also offer English Language Learner (ELL) services to help students develop confidence and success in English.
Education Technology & Innovation
At the International Community School of Abidjan (ICSA), technology is thoughtfully integrated to enhance teaching, deepen learning, and empower student agency. As a candidate for the International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we believe technology should support inquiry, creativity, collaboration, and reflection, not drive learning for its own sake.
Community Engagement
ICSA believes that Community Engagement plays an essential role in the education of children. Service Learning is a teaching and learning strategy that connects positive and meaningful action in the community with school work, personal growth, and social responsibility.
Library & Resources
The ICSA library is an integral part of the learning program empowering students to adapt and thrive in a changing global environment by exploring, learning, creating, and collaborating. Our community has access to over 17,000 books and materials, as well as 24/7 access to research databases and an extensive eBook collection.
