About Community Events

Community events play a vital role in fostering a sense of belonging, cultural exchange, and collective growth within an international school. ICSA events provide opportunities for students, parents, and staff from diverse backgrounds to come together, celebrate, and learn from one another. Here’s a look at some of our yearly events.

International Day

A showcase of food, costumes, music and stories from the 85+ nationalities that make up our community.

UN Day

On United Nations Day, our students present ideas for how to make our world a better place, focusing on the UN’s Sustainability Goals. We also have flag raising ceremonies with our families, and enjoy one another’s company

Africa Day

Africa Day is such a special celebration for our community. Not only do we get to celebrate all of our African students, faculty, and family members, but also our host country of Côte d’Ivoire.

Earth Day

Earth Day is an all day event at ICSA, full of learning and activities. We also invite local organizations involved in green projects here in Abidjan.

Winter Market

Before our winter break, we invite artisans from the local community (including our talented parents) to come to campus and share their art. It’s a great opportunity to shop, get to know the community, and eat great food!
