International Community School
The school is operated by the International Community School of Abidjan Association, a non-profit association formed in accordance with Ivorian law. The United States Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire is recognized as the founding sponsor of the school.
Parents or guardians of enrolled children are automatically given membership in the Association, and special membership is given to faculty and the administration. The Association meets bi-annually: once per semester.

Leadership
- The Director of ICSA is the Chief Executive Officer who is directly responsible to the Board of Directors. The Director is assisted by the Lower School and Upper School Principals, and by the Head of Operations, who oversees the Human Resources, the Business Office, the General Services and Technology.
- The Senior Leadership Team of ICSA is composed the Head of School, the Head of Operations, the two Principals, the Curriculum Coordinator, the Athletics Director, the Director of Technology, and the Service-Learning Coordinator.
- The Lower School and Upper School Principals are the educational leaders in their division and responsible for the short and long-term goals of the school, as well as the day-to-day management of the school.
