The International Community School of Abidjan (ICSA)

ICSA is a nonprofit international school offering an American-style curriculum in the financial center of West Africa’s Ivory Coast, or Côte d’Ivoire.

We’ve been serving families since 1972, and pride ourselves on providing a safe, multicultural environment where students can learn and lead collaboratively. With more than 60 different nationalities represented, ICSA is truly international—and dedicated to promoting tolerance, understanding, and appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.

Mission

At ICSA, our mission is to “Learning and Leading in a Collaborative Culture.” We nurture a diverse, globally minded community where students grow through an IB continuum of inquiry-based learning, meaningful relationships, and authentic experiences. Our mission is to empower students to become compassionate, reflective, and responsible individuals who contribute positively to their communities and the world.

Vision

A centre of excellence where international-mindedness, innovation, and empathy shape tomorrow’s leaders driven by a holistic IB education that inspires purposeful learning and global engagement.

Approach

We follow the IB continuum, offering the PYP, MYP, and DP to ensure a seamless, student-centered learning journey from early childhood to Grade 12.
